Until lvl56, collectibles gives you only XP and gold, after that, you have access to your 1rst fish giving you blue scripts (~32, depend of the quality, you need 250 blue scripts for 1 sand, so ~8 fishes).

With the extra gathering attempt from not having to clear the slot, you can even get a normal amount of gathers with 400 GP. Since they are every two hours for all 24hrs of game time, you can hit them all one after the other. The unspoiled nodes don't need to be cleared away giving you an extra gathering attempt, they also seem to have +1/+2 gathering attempts a lot. There's a map with times around on Reddit somewhere, but the MIN and BOT nodes happen in the same region right after each other and contain Cuprite and Crownbush. Immediately after you get your goodie bag, start hitting unspoiled nodes. Go into the Diadem under Matron and just gather crap until you complete the mission. If you have 600 GP, and can do a DE-MA-DE-MA-SM-MA rotation for Blue Scrips, you can crush this.
